The City of Clute is evaluating a rewrite of our Animal Control Ordinance and is soliciting
citizen’s input on the new ordinance.  The attached working DRAFT ordinance addresses
several key updates to the current ordinance including:

1.  Humane Care of Animals
2.       Animal Nuisances
3.       Restrictions on Animals Including:
       a.       Restrictions on Dogs & Cats and other animals
       b.      Exotic Animals
4.       Vicious Animals
5.       Livestock

Two public hearings are scheduled to receive public input on the drafting of the animal control provisions for the City.

Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 7:00pm: Clute City Hall

Public Comments are welcome.


The Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Budget is available online for review.

The City of Clute Economic Development Corporations is offering grants to small business owners in Clute in an effort to improve the look of the Clute Business areas around town.
